Scrivenza is a software company specialising in AI-powered document processing and compliance checking.

We help businesses turn unstructured documents — bank statements, invoices, forms and reports — into structured, validated data, and check that data against the compliance rules that matter, so issues get flagged automatically instead of discovered downstream.

Founder

Scrivenza is founded by Ron Woodley, a Lead Developer and Architect with 25 years of experience designing and delivering business-critical systems, with a recurring focus on document processing. That thread runs from authoring the XML/XSLT publishing platform behind 60,000+ pages of technical documentation early in his career, through to the AI-assisted document intelligence capability he leads today: automated extraction and validation of financial data from bank statements, built on Azure AI Document Intelligence and Anthropic's Claude, alongside a compliance rules engine keeping data in sync across CRM and back-office systems for regulated UK financial services firms.

That combination — long-running document-processing systems built to hold up under real operational and compliance pressure, now extended with hands-on delivery of LLM-based automation — is the foundation Scrivenza is built on.
